Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.Please note that all pictures on the web site are for illustration purposes only,models may vary in design to the actual product.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Please note:Any item cancelled after despatch will incur a restocking fee


Shipping And Handling

1.1 The Supplier shall mean Cooltrader. The Buyer shall mean the firm, person, company, or corporation by whom the order is given. Where the Buyer is two or more persons their liability under these conditions shall be joint and several.

2. Order Acceptance.

2.1 All orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions of sale.

2.2 The supplier reserves the right to decline any orders made.

2.3 No contract exists between the Buyer and the Supplier for the sale of any goods until the Supplier has received and accepted your order and the Supplier has received payment in full (cleared funds). Once the Supplier does so, there is a legal contract between us.

2.4 An order acknowledgement will be sent to you via e-mail, provided we have an e-mail address for you. This will give you details of delivery etc and stock availability.

2.5 The Supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.

3. Description & Price of Goods.

3.1 The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on the Suppliers website at the time you place your order,unless you are leasing the goods,equipment will be proposed to the finance company at RRP a further charge for warrentty and administration costs will apply these will only be provided when requested by the buyer.

3.2 The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and refund or re - credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

3.3 We reserve the right to change the prices shown at any time and we will contact you before we confirm your order if there are any changes.

3.4 All prices exclude VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate.

3.5 Goods are not sold on a trial basis. Buyers should check full product descriptions and suitability before ordering. Goods returned without fault, may be subject to a re-stocking fee.

4. Payment / Title of Goods.

4.1 By credit or debit card via the website. We also accept bank transfers and cheques.

4.2 There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received, with the exception of customers who have a credit account.

4.3. For account customers we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or part month thereafter on amounts remaining unpaid after 30 days.

4.4. . Title of goods shall not pass to the Buyer until full payment has been received. Default of payment the Supplier reserves the right to repossess wherever they are.

5. Delivery.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CERTAIN SCOTTISH POSTCODES ARE EXCLUDED FROM FREE DELIVERY

5.1 Orders over £75 excluding VAT and are delivered to mainland U.K may be chargeable depending on the location and the carrier,Many items are delivered free of charge. Orders under £75 will occur a carriage fee. All deliveries outside of mainland U.K are price on application. Deliveries are made within seven working days of the order being placed.
Many items delivered free of charge are usually delivered to the front door.Unpacking,positioning and installing is a chargeable extra P.O.A.

5.2 For urgent delivery requests call our sales office.

5.3 All deliveries are to ground floor access only.The seller must be informed if special conditions apply ie stairs,pedestronised areas,parking restrictions ect.

5.4 Claims for non-delivery must be via email or post within seven days from date of order.

6. Acceptance of Delivery.

6.1 The Buyer must examine the Goods upon delivery, Please check that the exterior packing is undamaged. You may unpack the Goods to check the delivery is ok. Do not sign the carriers documents unless you are totally satisfied with the delivery. Carriers documents signed for unexamined are not acceptable. Some carriers use computer pads, please check what you are signing for.

6.2 If the delivery is abborted for any reason by the recipient a charge will occur.This could be up to 30 per cent of the RRP

6.3 Damaged Goods.

In the event of goods being received damaged, you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt of delivery. This must be done via e mail, or our customer care dept.

7. Warranty of Goods.

7.1 All goods supplied by the Supplier are warranted. Each product displayed on the website has the terms of warranty described in the product description. All products have a minimum 12 months parts guarrentee. Some items have a return to manufacturer warranty. Reconditioned items are induvially warranted.

7.2 All warranty calls must be placed via our service department. A warranty form must be filled out before an engineer can visit. These can be emailed, faxed or posted.

7.3 The warranty does not cover defects caused by unsuitable storage conditions or processing, abnormal use, misuse or neglect, or installation by unauthorised or unqualified personnel. If the engineer deems that the call is not covered by the warranty, an invoice will be raised for the call, The buyer will be informed of this as soon as the engineer's report becomes available. The buyer is responsible for this invoice.

7.4 The Supplier shall not be liable in any way for any loss or expense, profit, suffered by the Buyer arising out of the Suppliers negligence or a breach by the Supplier of this contract.

7.5 Nothing in this clause shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Supplier.

8 Access & Installation.Cooltrader Equipment Ltd Are Not Responsible If The Buyer Fails To Accept Delivery If The Equipment Cannot Be Delivered Due To Access.This Will Inccur A Restocking Charge.

8.1 The sample measurements, dimensions, contained on the website constitute only an approximate guide. The Supplier reserves the right to make changes, which they in their absolute discretion consider necessary.

8.2 The Buyer should check product specifications and suitability before ordering.

8.3 A Corgi Registered Engineer must install all gas appliances. A competent engineer must install all other appliances. Failing to do this will invalidate any manufacturers warranty.

9 Technical Advice.

10 Leasing Agreements.

11 All leasing agreements must be agreed with the specified leasing company's terms and conditions of lease.

12 Liability.

12.1 Cooltrader excludes any liability for any claims, loss, damages, demands of any kind whatsoever with usage of the website, including direct or indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage, whether arising from loss of revenue, profits or otherwise.

12.2 This clause shall exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of Cooltrader or any other liability which is prohibited from excluding at English Law.

13 Law.

13.1 English law governs the terms and conditions and use of this site and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.




Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.


Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

2. A FULL MAINTENENCE WARRENTY WILL BE OFFERED AT A ADDITIONAL COST TO THE PRICES SPECIFIED. IF THIS OFFER IS DECLINED BY THE PURCHASER THE INVOICE WILL STATE 12 MONTHS PARTS ONLY WARRENTY.IN THIS INSTANCE COOLTRADER WILL SUPPLY PARTS FREE OF CHARGE UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THE WARRENTY EXPIRES ACCORDING TO THE DATE ON THE INVOICE

3. ON CERTAIN PRODUCTS THIS WILL INCLUDE A 2 YEAR PARTS ONLY WARRENTY.

4. COOLTRADER SHALL BE UNDER NO LIABILITY IN RESPECT OF ANY LOSS OF FOOD OR DRINK,FROZEN OR OTHERWISE DURING THE WARRENTY PERIOD

5. COOLTRADER ARE NOT CORGI REGISTERED AND DO NOT INSTALL GAS EQUIPMENT
